GE REAL ESTATE MOVES TO NORWALK
In the largest commercial lease transaction of the year in Fairfield County

Norwalk, CT - (February 23, 2007) BLT Office is pleased to announce General Electric Real Estate will relocate its headquarters and all 360 of its employees from three separate locations in Stamford to 901 Main Ave. in Norwalk later this year.

GE Real Estate will occupy three entire floors of the Main Avenue location - a lease of almost 150,000 square feet. GE Real Estate is a division of GE Commercial Finance, which occupies the top two floors of 901 Main Ave. GE Commercial Finance relocated from Stamford last year. The company is moving to Norwalk to be closer to its parent company, thereby improving communication, the spokesman said. It was also drawn to the "state-of-the-art facility and Class A amenities," according to the spokesman.

BLT Office President and CEO Carl R. Kuehner III stated he is "especially gratified a company as knowledgeable as GE Real Estate has selected 901 Main Avenue from all the competition out thereÓ. He continued, "You can't have more pedigree tenant profiles to come to Norwalk. This is a wonderful testament to the Norwalk market".

Norwalk Mayor Richard A. Moccia welcomed the news of General Electric's expansion in the city. "I'm happy to have another division of GE here and close to 400 more people that will hopefully live and dine and support other businesses in the city," Moccia said. "GE is always a good corporate citizen. They donate their time and money to the community and local nonprofits."

A full-service, second-generation real estate development company, Norwalk-based Building and Land Technology has developed or owned over $2 billion of real estate, including over 2,000,000 square feet of office space, 3,000 apartments and condominiums and 500 single family homes.
