SOUTHERN CT'S "BUILDING OF THE YEAR" ANNOUNCED

Building and Land Technology Wins Award for Norwalk Office Tower

Norwalk CT -- (October 28, 2009) At an October awards ceremony, 901 Main Avenue, one of the towers at Building and Land Technology's office campus located at the intersection of the Merritt Parkway and Route 7, was honored as the 2009 TOBY winner in the 250,000 to 499,999 square foot category.

The Office Building of the Year (TOBY) Awards are the most prestigious and comprehensive programs of their kind in the commercial real estate industry recognizing quality in office buildings and rewarding excellence in office building management. During the competitions, all facets of a building's operations are thoroughly evaluated. Buildings are judged on everything from community involvement and site management to environmental and "green" policies and procedures.

"This is a real honor," commented BLT President and CEO, Carl R. Kuehner, III, "and when you add it to the two other accolades 901 Main Avenue has recently received: an impressive 94 rating from ENERGY STAR as well as the prestigious BOMA 360 Performance award, I'm very impressed by all our management team is doing to provide the best possible environment for our tenants."
